As an independent private school, TCS is one of the only schools within the state of Kentucky that embraces a Reggio-inspired and nature-based learning model.
We begin providing early care and education to infants and toddlers at our Creative Minds Academy location.
We prioritize the continuity of our approach from birth through 4th grade.
Our youngest learners graduate from our CMA location and transition to our private school at our City Park location.
Located within the heart of Lawrenceburg, students spend half of the school day in our Outdoor Classroom.
Expanding on our original preschool model (which opened in January of 2010), The Creative School at City Park began serving Kindergarteners in the Fall of 2019, adding at least one grade each subsequent year.
The 2020-2021 academic year served 32 students in Preschool through 3rd Grade.
TCS is committed to small class sizes (10 students or less) to provide individualized support to students through Project Based Learning.
Our school embraces democratic principles by encouraging students to use their voices in decision-making.
This means the interviewing process will likely include questions from students! They enjoy being a part of the hiring process as they continue to build the school that can best meet their needs.
