JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE:
Analyst, IT (Service Desk) FLSA STATUS:

Manager, Information Technology (Service Desk) SUMMARY The Analyst will scope, designs, develops reports/application for our Materials Department.
This position is team-base role in the analysis, definition and development of a long-term data plan that will meet the analytical needs of the organization.
This position involves learning the business needs/drivers behind the request for reports/application.
They will learn to manage data modeling, database architecture, warehousing principles, and other activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Create, design, and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) reports.
Create, design, and deploy end user interfaces.
Utilize best practices for data loading and extraction.
Document current and future BI reports/applications Facilitate requirements/scoping using expert listening skills and develop simple solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of business customers.
Develop and implement ETL routines according to the DWH design and architecture.
Support the development and validation required through the lifecycle of Business Intelligence systems, maintain user connectivity, and provide adequate access security.
Work within the Agile framework, utilizing Sprints to track software development progress.
Design data models and define both logical and physical models.
Design and communicate requirements specifications for data.
Provide support to Software Development Life cycle.
Prepare ad hoc queries reports for both technical and business teams.
Prepare various code designs and ensure efficient implementation of same.
Ensure quality of all project deliverables.
Provide support to teams in all technical matters.
Provide training/collaboration to all employees of development team.
Design and implement various unit tests on system and prepare test data.
Design, build and support both real-time and batch data flows.
Learn our client's users' needs both from a historical perspective and an operational/transactional perspective.
Support the logical and physical integration of all applications that are developed or licensed, including how data are used for multiple purposes.
Create documentation and project artifacts in the software development process.
Communicate frequently and effectively with all internal associates, including research, management, development, and other operations personnel.
Demonstrate a disciplined approach to testing both software and data; show diligence in identifying and pursuing data anomalies, always striving not only to correct the data but also to identify the source of the corruption.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 3 - 5 years director or supportive materials experience in a manufacturing environment.
MS Access (32bit & 64bit) Powershell.
NET SL Power Platform Power Apps, Power Automate) SharePoint 365 MS Excel and VBA Project management (Jira, Sprints, Scrum Mater) Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), SharePoint, 365 Experience with Power Automate Team oriented with strong communication skills SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
